About Dominic

Dominic was born in the United Kingdom, and moved to Australia where he spent the majority of his childhood and young adult years.

Studying at James Cook University in Townsville, Queensland, Dominic completed an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science in 2001. He joined Queensland Health as a civil servant soon after, where he worked in a variety of roles in public health, project management, and business analysis.  He also continued to study, completing graduate certifications in Health Services Management, and Risk Management, from Griffith University in Brisbane, Queensland.

He was awarded a Simon Leadership Fellowship at the University of Rochester (Simon Business School) in 2012 to undertake an MBA, and moved to the US that same year to begin studying. Concentrating in competitive and organizational strategy, he achieved Beta Gamma Sigma honors for academic excellence and was also elected President of the Graduate Business Council.

In 2013 he served as a Summer Associate with Deloitte Consulting, and joined full time in 2014, after graduating. Dominic joined with a focus on enterprise performance management, in particular information management for the purposes of financial reporting, planning, and analysis.

He soon became a leader in big data modernization, cloud platform adoption, and expanded use case adoption for data driven transformation. He supports clients with their end to end, data, analytics, and AI transformation journey, from defining strategy, through implementation, and establishing ongoing operational capabilities. As clients navigate the complexities of establishing successful operating models to align business functions with technical delivery, Dominic balances organizational efficiency, with strategic priorities and value realization.  

Giving back is important to Dominic. He is currently a member of the George Eastman Circle at the University of Rochester. In 2024, he established the Dominic M. Rasini Endowed Scholarship at Simon Business School, as an acknowledgment of the generosity he received from the University, and the impact it has had on his career. He was previously a member of the Simon Advisory Board, and in 2025 became a member of the Simon Campaign Advisory Council. The school conducts a yearly case competition, hosted and funded by Dominic, to support students seeking a career in consulting.

He is an amateur photographer, with a focus on natural landscapes and cityscapes. Dominic also enjoys playing tennis, and watching rugby, which he played in Australia through to his mid-twenties.
